In order to remedy these issues, we redeveloped the site using a WordPress responsive format with an emphasis on improving user experience. Also, since Mr. Medley had previously used multiple websites for different types of legal representation offered, we merged all of these into one site to improve branding and visibility. The content on his previous pages wasn’t necessarily poorly written, it was just based on an antiquated understanding of Google’s ranking algorithm. Far too many areas were filled with inorganic sounding keywords. We then supplemented these content updates with stronger calls-to-action that were aimed at improving conversion rates.
The results were practically immediate. Within the first month after the new homepage’s debut, blog page visits had improved by 30%, homepage visits by 33%, case evaluation visits by 42%, and attorney profile visits had improved by a whopping 66%.
