There’s no doubt the Ice Bucket Challenge that’s consumed social media over the past few weeks has helped spread awareness for ALS and other charities. As of 8/22/14, the stunt has helped raise over $41 million for ALS research.
I was called out by a fellow coworker earlier in the week, and gladly accepted the challenge. After dumping a bucket of ice-filled water on my head, I nominated Mainstreethost to take part in the challenge. To my surprise, 60 or so employees accepted and donated.
Here’s how it went down:

- Peter Baio, Sam Wanamaker, and their teams over at LocalEdge (Tonawanda, NY)
We’ll give you all until early next week to complete the challenge. Get moving though, time is ticking!
