Fond Farewell To A Friend

The Mainstreethost Inbound Marketing Department bids farewell to its head honcho.

It’s never fun losing a member of the team.

When that person happens to be the team’s founder, captain, and all-around MVP, it makes things especially tough.

That’s what makes it so hard to say goodbye to our fearless leader of the Mainstreethost Inbound Marketing Department, Craig Kilgore. Craig started this department all the way back in 2012, a new convert to the inbound way. Armed with an already robust marketing skill set and a boatload of ambition, Craig built the department from scratch – implementing a litany of new campaigns and initiatives to help market Mainstreethost to a new and larger audience.

Craig was ahead of the curve in his sophisticated use of marketing software (HubSpot, most notably, but many others as well) to find actionable metrics, nurture new leads into customers, and re-energize the content creation process (read: make it work).

We’re sure all of these attributes will help him soar in his new endeavors and can’t wait to see the cool new things he’ll be a part of. But for now, we just want to take a moment to say thank you for being such a ridiculously awesome boss, friend, and marketing mentor!

Craig has done so much for Mainstreethost over the years and will be greatly missed. I loved working with him these past 10 years and wish him all the luck in the world. – Ross Marranca, CEO

Craig has been an integral part of Mainstreethost’s team for 10 years. To see him leave our company is a loss to us and a large win for his new organization. Anyone who has worked with Craig would likely say, “I learned to be better.” In his time here, it would be very difficult to find a project, campaign, or even a small action that he did not create, contribute to, or lead, and his creativity helped us reach new heights. Having him as part of our team has absolutely made the company a better place. – Kevin Devore, COO

It was a pleasure to work with Craig through the years. I wish him the best. – Russ Marranca, VP of Operations

Craig Kilgore

Thank you for your passion and enthusiasm over the last decade. Best of luck on the next part of your journey! – Justin Schultz, Director of Customer Care

Craig – Thank you for listening to everyone’s ideas and always encouraging us to try them out. Good luck in your future marketing adventures. I know you will do great! I will miss you terribly. – Emily DiLonardo, Enterprise Department Manager

Good luck in your next step of life! Thanks for being an easy guy to talk to, work with, and bounce ideas off of. I wish you the best moving forward, and of course, Go O’s! – Phil Smith, Content Department Manager

Craig Kilgore

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Craig when I first started at the company 7 years ago. I knew absolutely nothing about digital marketing, but Craig made it look so easy. Craig is very good at what he does and was awesome enough to take the time to show me and help me better not only myself, but the clients that I worked with. Craig made learning to work in this industry a fun experience, and I appreciate all his help over the years. I hope you have great success in your future endeavors, and I look forward to crossing paths again. – Mark Dominguez, Business Development Sales Manager

Craig – Thanks for all the support and for being an advocate of myself and the ideas/philosophies I’ve tried to implement throughout the years. It won’t be the same at Mainstreethost without you. – Rob Royal, Optimization Department Assistant Manager

Craig Kilgore

From everyone at Mainstreethost, thank you, Craig!
